The Application Process: Precision Craftsmanship
1. Cementitious Waterproofing Membrane with Osmotic & Crystallisation properties
The installation begins with a vapor-permeable, cementitious waterproofing membrane engineered with osmotic and crystallisation properties as primer. By permitting moisture vapor to pass freely while fully blocking liquid water in both directions, it neutralizes hydrostatic pressure and protects against blistering and delamination.
2. Multi-Coat Trowel Application & Compression
The microconcrete mortar is meticulously applied by hand in two to three layers, using deliberate compression to ensure a well-compacted, void-free structural matrix.
3. Precision Wet Polishing & Mechanical Vitrification
Once the mortar has properly cured, the surface undergoes extensive wet polishing using iron or diamond discs. No chemical sealers are involved; instead, the continuous polishing action progressively closes, compacts, and vitrifies the surface to a highly closed finish—creating a natural, impenetrable barrier against water ingress and corrosion.
4. Water-Activated Crystalline Sealing
The ultimate sealing mechanism is activated by water itself. When the pool is filled for the first time, moisture triggers the dormant crystallization properties embedded across both the primer and the microconcrete matrix. These crystals expand within the microscopic pores, permanently sealing the structure from within.
